The title on the front page reads “The Window of the Universe has Opened” with the following article text.
Sun, Moon and Earthlings
The moon became a new continent for mankind. On July 21, 1969, the lunar lander “Eagle” of the American spacecraft Apollo 11 landed on the moon’s surface, and Commander Armstrong and Astronaut Aldrin explored for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Apollo 11 returned safely to Earth before dawn on the 25th, but six days later, the US Mars rocket, Mariner 6, sent close-up photos of craters and other objects from Mars 3,400*., opening two windows into space for mankind at almost the same time.

The lower third of the page has a Grand Seiko advertisement promoting the Hi-Beat 61GAW. The text in the advert reads as follows.
The attitude of rigorously pursuing precision achieved and elegant design
To ensure reliable accuracy, a high-vibration mechanism is used that ticks off 10 times per second. In addition, the watch undergoes a 360-hour continuous accuracy test. This strict insistence on accuracy does not allow for compromise in the design.
The GS mark speaks of high accuracy and the dignity that only a top-class product can have.
