Continuing with the theme we have two beautiful hand finished vintage look eSteel Cased Radiomirs that are now part of the collection. Both of these are an absolute homage to the original Radiomir and it’s enduring legacy. These two new Radiomir Otto Giorni references as mentioned are hand finished to create a seasoned look to the eSteel. The intently weathered effect of the case, created via PVD is paired with defining elements of the original Radiomir created for the Royal Italian navy.
First up we have the PAM01347 which features a grainy-shaded dark brown sandwich dial. The second piece in the collection, the PAM01348 comes in the same grainy texture but in blue. These grainy dials are an ode to the historic Radiomir watches that evolved in colors and appearance over time because of the anodiazation process of some historic dials made from aluminum.
To match the vintage look, these pieces are paired with a supple calf leather strap in the same hue of the dial with a pebbled effect and contrast stitching.
On the dial you have a sub second indicator at the 9 o’clock while at the 3 o’clock we have the iconic 8 Giorni Brevettato logo. Both of these models feature blue hands and a vintage lume.
The PAM1347 & PAM1348 are both powered by the hand-wound P.5000 calibre which is visible through the clear sapphire case back.
Both pieces are available exclusively at Panerai Boutiques worldwide at a price of $9,700 USD.
