All the signs of summer coming to an end are nigh. Kids going back to school, football preseason is here, Olympics closing ceremonies are in a couple days. But we here at Feldmar are still very much feeling those summer vibes. I mean, look at Scott here kayaking lazily on the LA river. There’s still plenty of summertime left to enjoy, and we’ve got some colorful watches to prove it.

What a verdant, summer-like dial! Aside from the compelling looks, the watch packs a lot complications-wise into the Fifty Fathoms package: a moonphase display and a complete calendar along with a unidirectional ceramic bezel. Adding this watch will surely “complet” your collection!
CHRONOSWISS STRIKE TWO “H2O”
Going with the watersport theme (and baseball apparently), this Chronoswiss Strike 2 H2O has some unique elements that we’ve come to expect from innovators like Chronoswiss: feuille hands shape, a horizontal regulator, an hour display at 3 o’clock, and SuperLuminova indices. But it’s the deep, colorful blue dial that really steals the show.
PARMIGIANI TONDA PF “NO DATE”
The simple two-hand layout of this Tonda PF Micro-Rotor belies a platinum case construction, Grain d’Orge hand-guilloché finishing, and 18K Gold Rhodium Plated Appliques. There’s also a really cool micro rotor to stare at through the exhibition caseback! You really can’t go wrong with this PF—you’ll be comfortable wearing it at a backyard BBQ or a regatta.
SEIKO KING SEIKO SJE113
We love Seiko’s revival of the King Seiko collection. The dials are elegant, the bracelets are intricate, and the sturdy steel cases contain one of the brand’s best movements (6L35). The SJE113 here has a forest-green dial that can complement any outfit, and the 39.4mm case is wearable for most everybody.
ZENITH DEFY SKYLINE SKELETON
Zenith’s Defy line has emerged as one of the brand’s most innovative and sought-after collections. This skeleton comes in a 41mm steel octagonal case with a faceted bezel, featuring a black open dial revisiting the emblematic four-pointed star. It’s also powered by the legendary El Primero 3620 SK high-frequency automatic manufacture.
RADO ANATOM AUTOMATIC
RADO recently brought back the iconic Anatom, featuring black square case frames and color-gradient dial shading (in this case cognac) to deep black edges. Powered by the R766 movement and equipped with a Nivachron™ antimagnetic hairspring, this watch is as precise as it is elegant and colorful!
CARL F BUCHERER MANERO AUTODATE
Is there a way to talk/write about this watch without mentioning John Wick? I guess not! The Autodate is inspired by the classic, generally smaller dress watches of the 1960s, and its profile is just 8.75mm thick. If it looks like your father’s (or grandfather’s) watch, know that under the hood is a very modern and very precise CFB1965 movement. Sapphire crystal adds to its durability for when you happen to be battling international crime syndicates.

One of our favorite Tag releases of the year—mainly for its daring color combinations and dial presentation, this Skipper takes the Carrera name to a new level. But this watch is also highly functional with its regatta count-down indicator and 100 meters of water resistance.

You’ve heard us go on about Ressence before, highlighting its ground-breaking Ressence Orbital Convex System movement, but the Night Blue color edition here really stands out, and photos don’t quite do it justice. We probably picked the most striking piece for last!
