Limited Edition of 88 Pieces for the Blue Aventurine Edition and 28 Pieces for the Cliff Grey Edition
The case of the Perpetual Moon 38 Red Gold is brought to life from a block of 18kt red gold. Its bezel, four lugs and crown are polished, shining under the cold light of the moon. The blue aventurine dial, constellated with metallic particles, blends into a celestial vault sculpted from the same glass. The “cliff grey” dial, in a warm, sunray-brushed grey, boasts an ever-shifting moiré effect under a grained matte midnight blue sky.
These two limited editions of Perpetual Moon 38 Red Gold are home to a huge moonphase. This luminescent disc of mother-of-pearl illuminates the sky, framed by the constellations of Cassiopeia and Ursa Major.
Technical Specifications:
The case, in 18kt red gold, measures 38mm x 10.4mm. It has a domed AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 30 meters.
Movement is the Swiss manual-wind Arnold & Son in-house caliber A&S1612 with 24 jewels, 21,600 vph and a power reserve of 90 hours. Finishing includes: rhodium-plated plate with radiating Cotes de Genève stripes. Polished and chamfered bridges, circular satin-finished wheels. Blued and chamfered screws with polished heads. Functions are: hours, minutes, and astronomical moonphases. The moonphase has an accuracy of 122 years.
Dials can be had in blue aventurine glass or sunray-brushed “cliff grey”. Moonphases – sky: blue aventurine glass or grained midnight blue PVD. Moons: mother-of-pearl overlaid with SuperLuminova, hand-painted details. Constellations: overlaid with SuperLuminova, hand-painted details. The different crescents occupy the large aperture between 10 and 2 o’clock with the form of their cut-out faithfully recreating the appearance of the moon.
It comes on a ink blue or warm grey alligator leather strap, hand-stitched, with an 18kt red gold pin buckle.
