Another Seiko that will live in my collection for a while. A auction pickup recently and I really liked the dial. The watch is from 1972 which is my birth year so another riding factor in the purchase!
I gave this one a full service and fitted a new Sternkuez crystal and blue rally leather strap to finish the look.

Now on the site more for reference so anyone searching for a 7019-7060 knows the case shape and dial design (other colours would have been made)
This is important for anyone looking at collecting Seiko and just starting out. There are many on eBay and alike from various places in the world which might catch your eye and also being very cheap. My advise is to cake the caseback numbers, in this instance 7019-7060.

Put this into a Google image search and it should come back with many watches all looking very similar to the one you have or contemplating. If yours looks completely different in case or dial then there is a good chance the watch you have has either the wrong dial on it or the wrong caseback.
Many are a mix and match so its best to be prudent and do your homework. Down the line you might need parts or a crystal and end up unwittingly buying the wrong parts.

Another thing to check is the dial code. Look at the above photo at 6. You will see Japan 7019 – 7150R
The 7019 is the movement. The caseback, Dial and movement all need to match this 7019 number! If any don’t then your watch is not 100% correct. The 7150R is just the dial code for this colour and design and may vary from other 7019-7060 models.
With that over here is the finished watch. Enjoy.
